8Why did Our Prophet, sallallahu alaihi wa sallam, never allow for women to kiss his hand?
Because, our Prophet, sallallahu alaihi wa sallam, was concerned that the hypocrites and the sinful from his ummah would have their hands kissed falsely, saying, after his death, that what they were doing was sunnah. It was sawab of him to visit the tree in Hudaybiya. As soon as the tree began to be worshipped, it became haram to visit it. This rule applies regarding to the kissing of women’s hands. There are many hadiths stating that the Prophet’s hand is to be kissed. Ayahs beginning with “O Those who believe in Allah!” are binding verdicts for all. The hadith “We kissed the hand of the Prophet, sallallahu alaihi wa sallam,” is also a binding verdict. Women never kissed his hand. There are those who say that the Prophet, sallallahu alaihi wa sallam, never touched a women’s hand. We will deal with this later, inshallah.
8-1Those whose hands are to be kissed:
Allah Almighty has granted his friends countless bounties, so hand-kissing is not an issue. Read the ayahs, the hadith qudsi and the hadiths carefully, listen well and consciously, think about them and decide afterwards.
1- “And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and to be mindful of their chastity, and not to display their charms [in public] beyond what may [decently] be apparent thereof; hence, let them draw their head-coverings over their bosoms. And let them not display [more of] their charms to any but their husbands, or their fathers, or their husbands’ fathers, or their sons, or their husbands’ sons, or their brothers, or their brothers’ sons, or their sisters’ sons, or their womenfolk, or those whom they rightfully possess, or such male attendants as are beyond all sexual desire, or children that are as yet unaware of women’s nakedness; and let them not swing their legs [in walking] so as to draw attention to their hidden charms. And [always], O you believers - all of you - turn unto God in repentance, so that you might attain a happy state!” (Noor, 31)

2- “Wa nunazzilu minal Qur’an…”
We reveal of the Qur’an that which is a healing and a mercy to the believers. (Isra, 82; Ibn Maja, Vol. 9, hadith no: 3533)
Other healing ayahs in Qur’an: Shuara, 80; Fussilat, 44.
Allah Almighty does not state “I have granted the power to heal to doctors however they continue to examine, which is acceptable. Some say that it is not acceptable to heal with prayers. They legitimate doctors, regarding which there is no ayah, yet they do not legitimate healing by praying, although there is an ayah and hadith regarding this.

4- “Yubaddilullahu sayyiatihim hasanat.”
“Except for he who repents and believes and does a good deed; these are those of whom Allah changes the evil deeds to good ones; and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.” (Furqan, 70)
“Evil deeds of those who remember Allah (perform dhikr of Allah) will be changed to good ones.” (Ramuz-al-Ahadith, Hadith no: 4776)
Allah Almighty changes the evil deeds of those who remember Allah by reciting His names like, Hay or Hu, to good ones. No deed carries such good news. Think of this exchange as though you have a debit of a billion in your account, but it will be changed into a credit of one billion.
Remembering is different from the remembering of Allah. Remembering includes reciting the Qur’an and salat; whereas remembering of Allah includes mentioning His names, saying, for instance, La ilaha illallah, either individually or in group.

9- Hadith Qudsi: “Nothing endears My servant to Me more than doing what I have made obligatory upon him to do. And My servant continues to draw nearer to Me with supererogatory (nawafil) prayers, so that I shall love him. When I love him, I shall be his hearing with which he shall hear, his sight with which he shall see, his hands with which he shall hold, and his feet with which he shall walk. And if he asks (something) of Me, I shall surely give it to him, and if he takes refuge in Me, I shall certainly grant him it.” (Bukhari, Tajrid-e Sarih, Vol. 12, Hadith no: 2042; Ramuz-al-Hadith, hadith no: 4094; Ghunyat-at-taliben, p. 1048, 1057; Bariqah, Vol. 1, p. 313; Marifatnama, p. 553; Muzakkin Nufus, p. 427)

15- One who had the knowledge of the Book said: I will bring it to you in the twinkling of an eye. (Naml, 40)
This person is not a prophet, but of the ummah of the Prophet Suleyman and called Asaf Ibn Barhaya. He brought a huge palace, in the twinkling of an eye, from 5,000 kilometers away, from Yemen to Kudus. The Awliya (the friends of Allah) do not have Awliya inscribed on their foreheads. You presume on old and pious believers’ friendship to Allah, who shelters His friends.
“My intimates are hidden under My domes. None can recognize them but Me.” (Anwar-al Ashekeen p. 271) You can not recognize what Allah hides. Allah and His Prophet, through ayats and hadiths, tell us to benefit from the healing of the Qur’an. It is fact like a sun in the sky that our Prophet, sallallahu alaihi wa sallam, cured patients by reciting the Qur’an. However, our scholars do not pay attention to this and they speak maliciously about having women kiss hands. Thousands of people are ready to wait for days to kiss a hand in order to be healed by the cure of Qur’an. There is a difference between your reciting and their reciting. You cannot compare your word with their word. More information in this regard is given in the section of “The Healing of Reciting.”
